Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel started drawing images of youthful innocence and
children at a very young age. Goebel introduced the first three dimensional
figurines of her art in 1935 as original M.I. Hummel works of art. Long after
Sister Marias untimely death at age 37, M.I.Hummel figurines continue to charm
the world. All M. I. Hummel figurines are handcrafted by Master Artisans at W.
Goebel Porzellanfabrik Germany.
